I Began Scripting Roblox Games At 12 Years Old<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I began scripting Roblox games when I was 12 years old<\/a> because I was obsessed with scripting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day in and day out, all I could think about was one day, being able to write my own code to make awesome Roblox games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In school, I’d daydream about it all day long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was the kid that would talk about it all the time because of how much fun it was for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During English class, when I was in 5th grade, I have this distinct memory of when I was in class and we were asked to write in our English journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, being the overachiever that I am, I finished writing the journal entry quickly, and then I filled the entire next page with Roblox scripting code. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is how obsessed I was with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripting was the only thing I ever knew. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, I recommend beginner scripters to begin scripting Roblox games at the age of 12+, if they are passionate about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results of Learning Scripting at An Early Age<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since I learned scripting at such an early age and I persisted with it for 9+ years, I experienced a lot of benefits in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I was so interested in learning scripting at such an early age, I also felt like I should spread my knowledge with the world, so I began my YouTube channel, script_ing<\/a>, at around that time as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of that decision that I made when I was 12, my YouTube channel has allowed me to spread my knowledge to millions of viewers online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also had a much easier time finding jobs where I could teach programming to kids, because I began when I was a kid, and I had all of the content on YouTube to back up my experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was teaching Roblox scripting and programming to kids that were 8-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While older kids had an easier time learning scripting, I found that they were apathetic earlier than younger kids (due to maturity).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Younger learners would be extremely happy when their code worked (I can’t blame them!). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing their games come to life was an extremely rewarding view for them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later on, I had the privilege of teaching more students in-person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, I think that the best age to learn Roblox scripting is 12+ years old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although, any age is fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think what matters more than the age is the burning desire to learn scripting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The feeling of seeing a Roblox game that lights you up and makes you want to be able to create something similar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ability to Script Anything<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Due to my interest in Roblox scripting at such a young age and perseverance through many years, I had opportunities to script several different genres of games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was able to look at code and understand the underlying patterns that made it work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, I was able to script anything I wanted — right from imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
